Harmon Recovery Foundation

The Harmon Recovery Foundation was founded by Bill and Robin Harmon in September 2010 and is a non-profit organization created to support drug and alcohol dependency treatment programs.

The foundation blossomed from Bill’s desire to share the hope and insight he gained from his personal experience with alcohol addiction and his subsequent 30 year road to recovery. Bill and Robin are committed to bringing attention to the needs of the recovery community by promoting an understanding and empathy for addiction and providing resources through their non-profit organization.

Each year, members participate in clinics and golf tournaments to aid in their recovery and golf skills by having world class instruction and a community with a unified goal.

As the youngest brother of the renowned Harmon Brothers, sons of 1948 Masters Champion Claude Harmon, Bill brings a lifetime of experience in the golf profession to the fundraising events for the Harmon Recovery Foundation. Bill is currently the Director of Instruction at the Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells, California. He has worked with several touring professionals, including Jay Haas, 14 time winner on the Champions’ Tour and Bill Haas, two time winner on the 2010 PGA Tour. He is also recognized from his time as a contributor and analyst on the Golf Channel.

After the events of Bill’s addiction, his experience with fighting cancer and Robin’s experience surviving cancer, they decided to expand their scope of work to include non-profit cancer research and treatment centers.
