Bio
Emma Carpenter is a sports broadcaster, media personality, and content creator. She earned a B.A in Journalism and a M.A in Marketing from the University of Minnesota, and has launched her professional career to bridge her passion for sports and storytelling.
Emma is a former Division 1 golfer with the Golden Gophers and began as a podcast host for 5 Clubs in 2022. She was named the prestigious Lisa Byington Award winner for the “Most Outstanding Student Broadcaster in the Big Ten Conference” in 2023, and received a Student Emmy award for a Gopher Basketball sports news feature in 2022.
Currently, Emma serves as a play-by-play host for PGA Tour LIVE, and as a play-by-play host for the Golfzon Simulator World Tour, and as an ambassador and media personality. Her versatility extends beyond broadcasting; she is a classically trained vocalist who has sung the National Anthem at over 100 events, including Gopher sports games and the sold-out Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament in 2024.
