5 Clubs Story

5 Clubs Golf was created with the express purpose of hearing the viewpoints of people in the game with people who love the game. Our intention was to build a roster of contributors with varying perspectives on the game and, using their autonomy with their individual shows, discuss what is of interest to them in the vast and deep reservoir of stories within the game of golf.

The original 5 Clubs that constructed the creation of the USGA were intended to be foundational in 1894, and in 2021, with so much constantly evolving in golf, our 5 Clubs platform was determined to be foundational with growth being assessed on how many stories we could share with our audience. 5 Clubs is the vision of Steve Hall, James McCoy and Gary Williams. Three individuals with a love for the game and all it can provide personally and professionally. Together they set on the journey to advance a platform with an aggregate of voices to discuss the game and the industry. 5 Clubs is not a platform with an agenda, it is a collection of people pursuing the people, places and things in the game that make them more curious about the game of golf.

As 5 Clubs grows, we will work to shine the light on not only the stars in the game but the people who inspire, motivate and encourage those who want to make golf a part of their life. We want to always remain true to the principle that golf is a game while also examining the key issues and concerns that arise in an 84 billion dollar industry. 5 Clubs is for golfers who want more about the game and the people who make it interesting for all of us.
