Sullivan County Golf Club

Liberty, NY

The logo is great and would be celebrated by us no matter what, but the owner of Sullivan County is a friend and a true friend to golf.  When author Tom Coyne decided to take control of Sullivan County, he did it with the great intentions of making it a wonderful 9-hole experience for locals and for a growing national membership.  One of his first ambitions was the logo creation. In 1931 a plane took off from the 8th fairway of the golf course and flew to Denmark in one of the first transatlantic crossings.  The logo pays tribute as it’s a St. Andrews cross with a golf club and a propeller.  The color scheme is wonderful, and the logo looks great on everything.  Tom is an elite storyteller and soon we will know the story of Sullivan County from his point of view.  His passion project is just beginning with a strong and sturdy logo as a conversation starter, and you can support him by going to Sullivancountygolf.com and buying an item with the great logo from their online shop.
