Broomsedge Golf Club

Rembert, SC

The state of South Carolina was already rich with golf course depth, but the last five years has seen a high-end, high-design infusion as impressive as any state in the country.  Now along comes Broomsedge.  The logo is just that, broom-sedge.  Broomsedge is a warm season upright bunchgrass native to the eastern United States.  It’s the logo, the prominent feature on the golf course and it’s actually on the flagstick replacing the actual flag.  The long stems of broomsedge turn a golden orange in the fall which makes the appearance of the golf course striking in autumn. The vision and passion of founder Mike Koprowski and respected golf course designer Kyle Franz begins and ends with broom sedge, down to the logo.  In a hyper competitive space with new, elite properties coming to life at a glorious pace, Broomsedge has made itself known as a golf course with charm, provocation, and memorability and the logo stands tall like a bunchgrass, kinda like broomsedge!
