Fore the Ladies, Inc., is a female-based community and 501(c)(3) non-profit on a mission to introduce more women to the game and bring them together to play, watch, and participate in everything golf has to offer. Their hope is to make golf more accessible and approachable, while removing the expected barriers such as cost, equipment, golf course access and intimidation. Fore The Ladies is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all staff, volunteers and event attendees. The promotion and growth of opportunities in golf is a core tenant of their mission and all are welcome and encouraged to participate!

Founder, and President, Abby Liebenthal began Fore the Ladies after starting her participation in golf at an early age. Growing up, she was the only girl in her group of friends who played golf and that trend continued throughout college. Over time, more and more of her friends wanted to at least try to hit golf balls and learn the game. Her friends and peers felt they were missing business, social and networking opportunities that happened on the golf course leading Abby to create an organization that encouraged females to get into the game in a non-intimidating atmosphere.

Fore the Ladies allows women to be introduced to the game of golf when most don’t know where to begin! Through clinics, lessons, getaways, golf leagues and more, women are provided access to some of the best golf courses in the country with high quality equipment, mentors, professionals and peers. More than 250 events have taken place since 2019 in cities all over the U.S.
