Women On Course

For twenty years, Women on Course has been creating more than just golf outings– they have been building friendships, confidence, and a sense of community for women across the country. What started as an undecorated idea from founder Donna Hoffman, has grown into a thriving national network of over 60,000 members.

Ask any member what keeps them coming back and you’ll hear the same words over and over: camaraderie, sisterhood and friendship. While golf may be the common thread, the real draw of WOC is the connection between women who come together to learn and grow on and off the course. The focus on connection has been the heart of WOC since day one. Now, members can choose from more than 2,000 annual events, ranging from local networking events to well-organized golf and travel experiences that draw as many as 100 women per trip.

Beyond the course, WOC has redefined what golf can mean for women. Whether that be building business relationships, mastering the wine list, or even just enjoying a new experience in a welcoming environment. Donna’s approach has made golf accessible and inviting, transforming what can feel like an intimidating sport into a platform for empowerment and fun. As she says on their website, “the real magic happens during shared experiences and deeper conversations at the 19th hole (and if you don’t golf yet, that’s the clubhouse.)”

As WOC celebrates its 20th anniversary, its impact evidently continues to spread far beyond the greens. They have a growing membership of working professionals (and open positions in different cities including Charlotte!), an ever-expanding calendar of events, and commitment to community. Women on Course is proof that when women connect, incredible things can happen!
