Old Elm Golf Club

Highland Park, IL

The North American journey of Harry Colt in the spring of 1913 is a monumental chapter in golf course design in the United States.  Harry Colt labored at Pine Valley for a week and also constructed plans for Old Elm in Chicago.  The logo reflects the club.  Not seeking attention and always being understated the Elm tree stands proudly and sturdily as a symbol of a golden age golf club.  If you are wearing the Old Elm logo you know somebody, and you’ve been to one of the golf clubs that golf clubs are measured against.
