Goat Hill Park

Oceanside, CA

Having a public fun factory in San Diego County is a story by itself so the logo for Goat Hill Park symbolizes more than just a place where golf is played.  Oceanside, CA is home to Goat Hill but the devoted fans and golfers of Goat Hill come from all corners.  John Ashworth and Geoff Cunningham, the co-founders of Linksoul are the visionaries behind the cult following Goat Hill now enjoys.  Cunningham designed the logo and called it the favorite one he’s ever made.  When the 75 acre facility was saved from redevelopment the new managing partners took the nickname of what was formerly Center City Golf Course and made Goat Hill Park the proud and official name of the short course that played big.  The goat in the logo could not project more pride standing aloft the capital O for Oceanside. Cunningham included the date of origin in the logo to positively celebrate the history of the facility.  Goat Hill has become a logo that not only wears well on anything but it signifies inclusion, fellowship and the spirit and ethos of what they have there but what should exist everywhere in the ecosystem of golf. The goat is a GOAT.
