Armen Keteyian wrote the most comprehensive book on the life of Tiger Woods and now he’s authored the definitive book, “Gambler”, on the most famous gambler in American history – Billy Walters. The discussion includes Walters’ relationship and gambling partnership with Phil Mickelson, Phil’s unwillingness to testify on Billy’s behalf that could have kept him out of jail as well as the details of the proposed Ryder Cup wager, Phil performing brilliantly on the heels of huge gambling losses, and Billy’s unwillingness to delve into Phil’s personal life. Keteyian also offered reflective thoughts on writing about Tiger and Phil, the two most significant figures in golf in the last 50 years.
