Ladies Who Golf

Sometimes a new movement begins with a simple idea: creating space for women to grow. Ladies Who Golf was founded in 2023 by mother–daughter duo Keyeriah and Lashonda Miles, together with Notre Dame collegiate golfer Brittany Dawn Damper, hoping to change the landscape of golf for career-driven women. They recognized early on that stepping onto the course with peers opens doors that the boardroom often can’t. Golf becomes a place where confidence grows, conversations flow naturally, and professional relationships have an opportunity to take root.

While their mission began on the course, it didn’t stop there. Inspired by trailblazer Althea Gibson, Ladies Who Golf expanded into the LWG Racquet Club. Tennis and golf share more similarities than most expect, and by adding racquet sports to their community, LWG is giving women even more ways to stay active, build skills, and engage in a new environment.

Ladies Who Golf is about representation, belonging, and opportunity. Whether members participate in corporate tournaments, navigate male-dominant industries, or simply learn the game for the first time, they are encouraged to step into new spaces. It’s a community built for women who want to strengthen networks, exchange ideas, and enjoy the kind of shared experiences that build confidence.

Each year, one outstanding participant earns the Future Leader Award, which includes a $1,000 scholarship to support academic or professional growth. As the program expands to additional campuses, Ladies Who Golf aims to build a national network of future leaders who feel confident not only on the course, but in the classroom, the boardroom, and every room where decisions are made. Their mission is guided by powerful pillars: redefining tradition, building meaningful connections, honoring legacy, strengthening community, and embracing inclusion.
